Nine years old at the Black Wake. Imprisoned with his sisters in Die Klagenuhr during the Black Wake; shot and killed during their escape (527 AS).
The Lang household joined three children under Leopold’s name: Shryke and Starling, daughters of Lika, and Rabe, Leopold’s biological son by Marika. Leopold adopted all three into his household and raised them as his children. Leopold and Marika were not a couple. Shryke’s biological father is unrecorded.

The shunned twin. A lexicographer by profession and a provocation by temperament. Died under mysterious circumstances in Rodos while working there; found dead at her estate three weeks before the Siege (532 AS). The broadsheets called it an accident; the tabloids called it a murder. Reportedly burned on a funeral pyre, a custom uncommon in House Pallas.
The Pallas line is one of the oldest dynasties in Drachenherz, believed by many to descend from the original founders of the Imperium. Their earliest records remain sealed behind Synodic and Imperial edicts, but rumors persist of occult councils and magickal cabal ties within their ancestral ranks: .

Noted for repeated leniency toward Pitbound insurgents during the Refugium lockdown. Engaged to Shryke Lang (unannounced).
House Accipiter descends from the first Solarium judiciary, its bloodline interwoven with Keeper command. Their crest, a black falcon clutching the scales of dawn, stands as both symbol and sentence. Following Cornelius’s ruin and death, his elder sister Sevila took Tristan into her household and raised him as her ward. Every recorded Synod edict since 500 AS bears the signature of an Accipiter hand.

A lettered man, he published treatises on poverty, sanitation and labor under the pseudonym “The Ferryman.” His tallies became the Black Ledger, which outgrew him into a citywide circular. Officially died of drink; Erik holds that a shipping magnate had him drowned.

Refugee of the Imperium’s expansion into Rodos; famed beauty of the Wharfside quarters. Survived the Stump tenement fire with Erik. Widowed young. Struck record: “wedded” to an unnamed Keeper under the Edict of Illumination; died a year into the “marriage.” The entry was struck after independence, likely by Erik Mordiger, and rewritten: abducted, raped, died of “spiritual exhaustion,” sent off by burning.

The Mordiger surname appears repeatedly in early Refugium and Vergoldestadt archives, consistently associated with insurgency, dissent, and the practice of black magicks. Before the Sundering, the family name was recorded as Eisenmord. Erik later lived three years under it as Alaric Eisenmord, a clerk in the Mortuary Office.
